For many of us, there comes a moment when we begin to think more deeply about investing.
Maybe you’ve recently received an inheritance.
Maybe you’re going through a divorce.
Or maybe your children are getting older and you finally have a little more headspace to think about your money.
At this juncture, the world usually gives us a few options:
Option 1: Hire a financial advisor and let them deal with your money.
Option 2: Buy a passive, low-cost index fund, like an S&P 500 fund, and hold on for the ride.
Option 3: Read some books and try to piece everything together on your own.
These are all perfectly reasonable approaches.
But if you're someone who wants to learn and understand things more deeply, it can be hard to know where to turn.
What if you have questions like:
How do you invest in individual stocks without becoming a Robinhood day-trader?
What happens if there’s another big market crash—like there was in 2008?
They say you can’t time the market, but how are you supposed to know when to buy and sell?

You’re not alone in wondering.
This membership offers a place to learn about investing by watching a real investor make real decisions with her own money, in real time.
Investing is a skill, and I think that one of the best ways to learn it is to work alongside someone actually doing it day-in and day-out. I’ve been fortunate to have some great mentors along the way, and I hope to be a resource to others.
As a member, here's how it works and what you get:
Live trade alerts. Every time I buy or sell something inside my account, I send out a short note explaining what I bought or sold and why, so that you can decide whether you want to buy it in your own account. You can check out some sample alerts here and here.
Friday Recaps. Every Friday, I send out a summary of the trades I placed that week, a snapshot of my account, and some thoughts on where the market might be headed. Check out a sample Recap here.
Support. I encourage members to reach out with questions as they come up along the way. I believe questions help us all grow together.
You want to learn by doing, even if you’re just investing a small amount of money to start.
You've read a bit about investing here and there, but you’re looking for a process that helps put all the pieces together.
You have a financial advisor but want a deeper understand of what’s going on with your money and your investments.
Your days are jam-packed with work, meetings, or travel and you just don’t have time to follow trade alerts.
You’d like a full-service financial advisor to manage your investments and handle everything for you.
You are uncomfortable with uncertainty, changing conditions or trades that don’t work out as expected.
