Most financial advice tells you to stay passive and hand your money over to someone else.
I do the opposite.
I actively manage my own portfolio and openly share what I’m investing in. I write about how professional investors think about markets, risk, and opportunity — in language that’s understandable and even relatable.
I want people to stop feeling like finance is a world where they’re not welcome.

A bit about me
I’m a tax attorney and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), with over two decades in the financial world. I’ve advised individuals, private funds, and multinational corporations on everything from sustainable investing to international tax planning and charitable giving.
I have a B.A. from the University of Chicago and a J.D. from Boston University School of Law. I’m also a trained mediator and arbitrator, and I serve on the board of Nature and Culture International, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting wild places.
When I’m not day trading or writing, you can find me in the Tetons with my husband, son, and dog.
